NCLEX application in NY for NON-US applicants.

I am a nurse here in the Philippines and it is my first time to apply for a licensure at New York State. I'm processing my CGFNS Credential Verification for New York State (CVS) online, but I haven't completed it yet. I just wanna make sure if I'm doing the right thing. Is there anyone here who can help me or give me information on the step by step process of applying for a license in NY state, from CGFNS up to application at the NY State Education Department (NYSED). I am doing the process on my own and just basing it from what I read from the site and the other blogs here, but I'm still confused. Can someone help me on this? One who had undergone the same process before. Thanks!

buknit....I got the email from BON and they said that my file has been sent to Bureau of Comparative Education for the education review. They can take several weeks or longer than that. The length of time is based on the volume of reviews in that office at the time our file is forwarded since files are processed in the order in which they are received.

Me too.. I've been waiting for almost 3 months now since the CGFNS has issued a report to NYSED.. I have emailed the NYSED regarding my status of my application yesterday but until now there was no reply from them.. Hope everything is ok.. Any advices?

its been 1 month for me since CGFNS has issued a report..... Most of the people get response in 6-8 weeks from BON.... i am eagerly waiting for the response from NYSED

Received the ATT via email last night... and I'm scheduled to take the exam on January 13, 2016.

Who are you still waiting for? Usually after 6 months everything is sent to NY BON

my cgfns-cvs was already sent to ny bon back in november.. still waiting for my eligibility...
