NCLEX application in NY for NON-US applicants.

I am a nurse here in the Philippines and it is my first time to apply for a licensure at New York State. I'm processing my CGFNS Credential Verification for New York State (CVS) online, but I haven't completed it yet. I just wanna make sure if I'm doing the right thing. Is there anyone here who can help me or give me information on the step by step process of applying for a license in NY state, from CGFNS up to application at the NY State Education Department (NYSED). I am doing the process on my own and just basing it from what I read from the site and the other blogs here, but I'm still confused. Can someone help me on this? One who had undergone the same process before. Thanks!

That scare the hell out of me. ������������I will declare it if that's the case. That being said, I should also write my two licenses for NYSED form question 19 and submit form 3 for each licenses. Am I correct? I'm soo confused. ������pls help me.

One more thing that bothers me is about the documents that i have to print and mail for the CVS.

Yesterday I was about to print mine when i noticed that the date was automatically filled up. The thing is, the months and year when I started in college and my graduation are both correct, but the dates are both wrong.

I cannot edit the dates and tampering it is definitely not an option. ������������

Have you encountered this during your application and may I know what did you do to solve it?

If the dates are wrong and you can not edit it submit paperwork and include a letter explaining dates wrong.

Complete all information as you think it should be completed.

NY have their own agreement with CGFNS. You complete paperwork with CGFNS and make payment and they are responsible to apply for all relevant paperwork

No. For CVS CGFNS obtains all the credentials & documents to be verified. You fill the forms and pay the fees. The 6+ month wait is partially due to CGFNS obtaining all the required documentation

You do not prepare anything. CGFNS have to do it all, that is part of the requirements of cvs

finalky my cgfns cvs report was submitted to hy bon after 8months... phewwwwww.. now waiting mode for my eligibility.. i hope they will make me eligible before december. fingers crossed!
