NCLEX application in NY for NON-US applicants.

I am a nurse here in the Philippines and it is my first time to apply for a licensure at New York State. I'm processing my CGFNS Credential Verification for New York State (CVS) online, but I haven't completed it yet. I just wanna make sure if I'm doing the right thing. Is there anyone here who can help me or give me information on the step by step process of applying for a license in NY state, from CGFNS up to application at the NY State Education Department (NYSED). I am doing the process on my own and just basing it from what I read from the site and the other blogs here, but I'm still confused. Can someone help me on this? One who had undergone the same process before. Thanks!

In your application to ny bon it only applies if you are licensed in the usa. If you have license in the phil, its your choice since ny bon dont required you to be licensed in the country you graduated if you choose to include it just let cgfns know so they will include it in the report.Child abuse can be taken later on since its only online. Contact the ny bon through email in the website provided. They will send you link for child abuse courses will take few mins and i think 15-20$ Also, seems like questions here are repeated if you browse older replies you will able to get answers.

Hello there, my report was issued in november 10th but still i havenot got any mail from BON. i am so much worried. 1 day back i got an email from BON that they need a scan copy of my transcript and to email them . I emailed my scan copy of my transcript, but i am really worried when will i get my eligibility? do you have any idea if the ask for any document again??

Why don't you contact them directly? Call them. If they have your application already, they will provide you with whatever information needed.

I tried calling them but i was just on hold for 30 min and then cut off. i called them several times. they already have my application and my application is with the evaluator now, but i am just wondering why do they again need my transcript, as cgfns had already issued my report .

The BON may just want to clarify something from your transcripts

finally i took the exam last feb 26, 2015 at 9am philippine time. i stopped around 94 or 95 questions. got 13 satas and some exhibit questions. now waiting for the result. tried the pv trick and got a good pop up. hope its a positivrle sign
