NCLEX application in NY for NON-US applicants.

I am a nurse here in the Philippines and it is my first time to apply for a licensure at New York State. I'm processing my CGFNS Credential Verification for New York State (CVS) online, but I haven't completed it yet. I just wanna make sure if I'm doing the right thing. Is there anyone here who can help me or give me information on the step by step process of applying for a license in NY state, from CGFNS up to application at the NY State Education Department (NYSED). I am doing the process on my own and just basing it from what I read from the site and the other blogs here, but I'm still confused. Can someone help me on this? One who had undergone the same process before. Thanks!

long is the processing time for newyork state nclex, after submitting my documents to CGFNS? Thank you������

Average processing times is 6 months as CGFNS have to apply for your documents and will not use anything that you submit. Once 6 months are up they will send what ever documents they have received to NY. They will post the documents sooner if complete

Oh yeah!

The faster they receive your documents from your school and licensing board, the earlier they'll send your report to the NYSED!

Hope you've already sent an application to NYSED too.

1.Form1

2.certificate of child abuse and infection control

Could you tell me what else document I have to add beside these form 1 and certificate

The application, form 1, the certificates. Make sure your application is notarized. And a money order of $143

I already send my application to cgfns and it was delivered too.when I login cgfns it still show waiting to received.I called cgfns and she told me it will take couple of weeks to open application.I would like to know how long it will take to send my application to college.

If I may ask, when did you send it? The status change online shouldn't take long that they've received it but the whole review process may take as long as 6 months. So there's no point to be in a hurry. They take their own time but keep yourself updated on the website.

Yes, send your application and payment (demand draft/money order drawn in US dollar account) to NYSED, then let's wait until CGFNS send your CVS report.

CAN WE PAY USING CREDIT CARD:( i dont have dollar account so i cant really use demand draft , help

hello everyone! I just want to ask about payment to NYSED using a dollar account. Actually im here in KSA and im facing difficulties for asking a bank draft. Till now my status of my application is waiting to recieved my documents coming from my school and professional provider. Is there any options to pay aside from bank draft? what about the cheque? thank you guys and god bless....:down:
