Nurses work many hours ... it's understandable that they come home tired.

Any zombies out there?

Im pretty sure I will look like that after the next 4 days. I really need to start looking at the schedule before picking up extra hours. Maybe a low census day on Monday? But everytime I want one, it doesnt happen

i thought that was how nurses were supposed to look after four twelve hour shifts??

that's where older nurses eventually go... we star in zombie and crusty old bat movies. once you become a crusty old bat, you can go back and forth between being either a zombie or a crusty old bat. poof!

Hey I just met you and this is crazy,

Im high on bath salts

Your face looks tasty

Oh snap. Is there a urine test for bath salts??

On a slightly related note- I work doubles, a 16 hour shift in total. On of the aides that usually works 2nd shift, came in on first shift, and told me, "OH! You look so NICE today! Why don't you always wear makeup!?"

-.-

I do. It's usually just smeared around my face in desperation by the time you get here.
