Who is Taking Micro this summer? Here is a thread that we can all refer to for support. If you have any links to helpful websites please feel free to add them.

What text book is everyone using? At my school we use 'Microbiology-A Human Perspective'.

Almost done here, I have my final on Wed. then a short lab final then its all over. Then I can get ready for A&P 2 in the fall.

Congrats on everybody who got A's!! My Class still has 2 weeks, but I'm really enjoying the class. Cant wait to get my A (hopefully). I've heard this class was super hard, but the material and labs are interesting its harder to NOT payattention! Good luck to all!!!

I am taking Micro also the book we are using is Alcamo's Fundamentals of Microbiology

Does anyone have the books

Microbiology a Human perspective --Nester

basic Microbiology techniques -- Kelley

If anyone selling either or both of them I'll buy. If not can some tell me what editions is the new one for each, maybe provide the ISBN, so i can buy the right one's from online somewhere thanks in advance.

i am starting Micro Next Monday July 17th, 3 days after A&PII. That will leave me with exactly 18 days of freedom for the summer before i start Nursing in the fall.

I got a B+ for microbiology, I was expecting an A-. I am not upset though considering what I went through while I was taking the class. I am glad it is behind me. Good luck to all of you and I wish you all the best.

Whooo Hooooo I made it through with an A as well. I'm so glad that it's over. Congrats to everyone on having one more class done with!

My class starts tomorrow and goes for 4 weeks!!! I'm already :uhoh3: because I can't afford to buy the text... hoping I can get through with good notes :o

Texas, you probably can do ok without the book, but if you can go on amazon and buy a later edition, I would do that if I were you. My microbiology class, we were using the 9th edition, and I had the 7th edition. I purchased it on Half.com for $7.46 and I did fine in the class. I like to have the book, just incase I miss something.

Yahoooooo!!!I got a B..... I couldnt be happier...This was a hard class but I had a teacher who gave lots of easy extra credit.Im so glad its over.
