Who is Taking Micro this summer? Here is a thread that we can all refer to for support. If you have any links to helpful websites please feel free to add them.

What text book is everyone using? At my school we use 'Microbiology-A Human Perspective'.

I am using polmerville's microbiology. It is super tough!

i just took my first Micro exam today and i am very confident that i got an A. Wow why is this stuff sinking in so much more than Alot of the A&P. Like for instance. we are going over cell biology things like that. i was so confused when we went over It in A&P,but here i understand it and learned it. Go ahead ask me, ask me anything(lol j/k). But i do feel alot more confident in this class.

thank god i'm finished with micro, i finished yesterday!!!! yayyyy and i got an a:lol2: . i think that was one tough a to accomplish, probably my toughest so far... but o yeah ... i did it:monkeydance: o yeah umm humm.... so now i'm counting down the days until i start the full course meal .....i start nursing on aug. 14, 2006! i am so excited....

I take my final next Tuesday. Depending on what my lab grade is, I'll need somewhere between an 88 and a 94 on the final to make an A. Shouldn't be too tough. I've already been accepted to school, so my grade really is pointless.

Hmm. I just wrote a long response but I don't see it. I was posting that I have finished with Micro as of today. Yeah!!! That was a very tough class especially since it was only 7 weeks long. I don't think I will ever take a short class again but it was either this or nothing. I have already had to wait an extra year to apply to nursing school because I was missing just micro.

Just received my test score and got a 91!!! I am so happy. It is great to have somewhere to share my excitement where people understand it and I can do it at 11:00 at night and not wake someone up.

Now I can relax and read a pleasure book. Very soon I need to start on my apps and essay. I have been thinking about the essay but am stumped. hmm. Good luck to the rest of the group who is still taking micro.

I'm taking my micro final tonight at 6 and then i'm done!

It's a 150 question test, each question is worth 1 pt. I can only get 40 wrong to keep an A, but I can get 110 wrong to get a B. Hopefully I get an A!!

if u live in houston-TX and u NEED to make A in your biology,ap1,ap2,or microbiology, U HAVE TO TAKE ..PHILLIP SWARTZ @ hccs pinemont..U cant go wrong,trust me.he's the best!!!
