  1. Hi Lily2011, I believe they were starting to call people on May 20th but as I'm sure u saw on this thread dome people got called for an interview prior to that date. Hopefully we get called to so we at least have a chance.
  2. Lily2011 when was your interview? R u a new grad?
  3. Well, I guess letting you know in a week or 2 means that they are still interviewing so hopefully I still have a chance for them to call me. I called the recruiter AGAIN and still no call back. I can't handle this waiting, so discouraging, you know. But thanks for the luck cuz i sure need it at this point.
  4. I thought I read that they weren't going to be calling people back around the 20th of May. But people are getting called earlier, so I don't know if that's bad for me since I haven't been called yet. I want so bad to work with peds especially at pch. Do you currently work in med/surg right now?
  5. I'm already working as an RN as well but with adults. I wanted to change to peds. When did they say they would let u know?
  6. Haven't been called yet for interview. Was UR interview for med/surg? Or did they let u pick between PICU ER OR MED/SURG
  7. Cindyloo. On your interview did they quiz u on meds or procedures or anything like that?
  8. Thx AZWILDCAT. I tried calling and leaving a msg b4 but no call back I called today and the receptionist said you can try leaving another msg but they get hundreds a day so they might not b able to call u back. So I don't know what to do keep calling or just wait. Man this is killing me!!
  9. Wow congrats on getting an interview. I'm so nervous because I am not a new grad but want experience with peds. But haven't gotten a call yet, I'm getting so discouraged now since people are getting called and I haven't heard anything at all. Mine said the same thing that my application was currently being actively reviewed and hasn't changed. I applied on April 27th, so Im really nervous. Any suggestions????
  10. Yes, I am starting the July cohort and they told me i wont be able to get financial aid or any student loans until the fall classes begin. at that is at Glendale
  11. bigdreamer-- Are you entering the program at GCC for the July cohort? By the way congratulations on getting in.
  12. Nubcake, keep your head up and dont give up. I look at it like the time is going to come either way, might as well be going for something you want. The time will be here before you know it. :) Where are you taking your pre-reqs at?
  13. I interviewed in November of last year for the March cohort and was ended up as an alternate for the march. I ended up getting placed for the July cohort at GCC. I think they start interviewing for the july cohort in either February or March. Did you already get called for an interview? Do you currently work for Banner (you dont have to in order to get an interview), I was just curious.
  14. You have to write 4 essays. I don't know if they are the same questions every cohort. They assign the questions you have to give your essays on. I dont believe they asked for references.
  15. Stopnik, OMG that is so awsome. so company's really will pay off contracts?? I did not know that. I really hope I get accepted. I was wondering though, if they list reasons on the letter if you do not get accepted. Guess we will see when I receive mine. Hey, Im still hopeful and crossing my fingers.
