Hello! I'm also up for micro coming this spring. I'm excited about this course - the content & the instructor. I took this instructor for A & P I (& LOVED her!) but had to drop the class when I got pneumonia & couldn't get over it. She has been teaching this course for 20+ years and with her teaching style and personality, she wants EVERYONE to succeed while helping them in anyway that she can. So good luck to all of us & please let me know if I can help you in anyway since I'm sure she will give us access to the best resources that I can pass along to you all! Best of luck & keep in touch!

Hi there! I am new to posting here. I have been a member for a while but never posted anything until today. I'm so glad that there are other people who are taking micro this semester. Hopefully we can help each other out!

I enrolled in Microbiology for spring semester 2007 after giving it much thought. Actually, I enrolled tonight online. I was already enrolled in A&P I, so my biggest worries stemmed from attempting to take 2 science classes in one semester. However, I know I can successfully accomplish this feat if I put my mind and abilities into it with full force.
Good luck to all of us!

Hello:
Count me in! I'm taking Micro this Spring--first day is 1/16 I think. Sold my stats book and already purchased the micro book. Am so ready for another challenging science class. Last semester was all about boring GE courses.
Micro is my last main requirement to satisfy before nursing school. In addition to Micro, I'm also going to take a human development course on line (possibly just do a challenge test there) and advanced first aid/CPR class. I'm also required to take a child development class to keep my toddler in the on campus day care, but that's only 2 units. I'm going to try to take a kick boxing class too. Figure it's my last chance to get in shape before summer rolls around....and the rigors of nursing school come Fall '07 (if I get accepted....fingers crossed....will find out end of May).
Had a 4.0 Fall semester so am hoping for more of the same.
Happy Holidays, Good luck to us all in the new year!

Micro for me this quarter also - classes start January 2nd. I'll also have A&P II, Nutrition, and English 101. Two lab sciences are a bit scary, but I've got to get 4 sciences in by the end of this quarter, so this should satisfy that requirement. Good luck to us all :)

Good luck to you all. I had micro last semester and loved it. I can never look at my kitchen or bathroom the same way though.

I will be taking Mirco. Looks like an interesting, but very challenging class.

I'm starting a night Micro class in a couple weeks as well. I finish my LVN program 2/19, Micro ends 3/3, jury duty 3/8, NCLEX end of March or so.
Looking forward to getting it all done!
