Hey everyone,
I just wanted to start a thread for people interested in the MDC nursing program for fall 2012. I think if you shared your scores (TEAS V & GPA) and what track your applying to (full-time or part-time), it will give everyone an idea of where they stand.
I will start:
I have a 3.7 GPA and an 81% on the TEAS and looking to apply for the part-time program. I have the option of taking the TEAS 2 more times which I will be doing :)
congrats to everyone by the way! i also got accepted into the generic full time in mdc as well as fiu. had a hard time deciding which one to finally go with but it looks like i will be joining you guys =) I would like it if we could get a study group going. maybe pick the same classes so we could study all the courses as a group. just an idea lol
Hello everyone,
I have a question? There are such knowledegable people here conerning the MDC admission process I must ask. I still have not received any notice concerning the ASD program, so should I venture to go the advisors office at Medical Campus and ask them concerning my status? Or wait until the first week of class? I'm deciding when to execute my plan B ... time is running out.
Just a heads up, emails have gone out today letting you know what your missing, i for one have not gotten my background check email and i did it over 2 and a half weeks ago, alot of other people are on the same boat.
Solution: if you have not gotten the background email go to deans office 3rd floor inbetween building 1&2 1355 i think and ask for the physical copy- dont lose it cause you need to bring it with you to orientation as proof if you never end up getting the email confirmation
ppd - they want a letter in writing stating the dates and status of results or it can be on a prescription pad as well from the doc, it cant just be on the paper.
im generic full time homestead campus - hope to see you all at orientation!!!

Yadi, I'm just about to go to my third (and final) doctor visit. Could you explain the status thing? Are you saying that they want the doctor, on a separate paper, to list titer, etc. results?
yeah this is confusing, i have a 3:30 appt tomorrow. at the place on 4100 NW 9st that does it for $170. so now we need it on a seperate paper???
That's where I'm going this afternoon. This doctor has done a lot of these exams, etc., so I presume she and her assistant know what she needs to do.
i went to the same doctor's office and completed all my three visits. the guy at the front desk (jose or jorge) have done many MDC students and they know what they are doing. they gave me all the papers that i need for MDC and assumingly because they have done it before they should know what they are doing and give me the correct papers.
