Hey everyone,
I just wanted to start a thread for people interested in the MDC nursing program for fall 2012. I think if you shared your scores (TEAS V & GPA) and what track your applying to (full-time or part-time), it will give everyone an idea of where they stand.
I will start:
I have a 3.7 GPA and an 81% on the TEAS and looking to apply for the part-time program. I have the option of taking the TEAS 2 more times which I will be doing :)
Hey Studybudy,
You lose nothing by calling or going to ask about your status. When I was supposed to receive my acceptance e-mail, I waited 3 days, and it turned out they had my e-mail address down wrong.
I don't want to give you false hope and say that this is the case, but again it never hurts. Give it a shot!
i know mdc is super super unorganized about the way they go about things and some of their procedures make absolutely no sense. but w/e you gotta do what you gotta do right
You are right. They seem to always temporarily lose paperwork, which will cost you time and duplicated effort. Photocopy everything that you give them. Everything. There is a good chance that you will have to submit the same paperwork a second time.
congrats to everyone by the way! i also got accepted into the generic full time in mdc as well as fiu. had a hard time deciding which one to finally go with but it looks like i will be joining you guys =) I would like it if we could get a study group going. maybe pick the same classes so we could study all the courses as a group. just an idea lol
lovely,
i am trying to start a study group for generic full time medical campus. send me a message with your info so we can talk.

for the PPD only - they want the result written on prescription paper or letter with letterhead from doc. Since the PPD isnt something that shows up on lab results they want something "official" besides them just writing the date and negative or positive on the health sheet.
