MDC Spring 2012 :)

Hi guys!

I was hoping to get to know some of the people that will be applying to the Spring 12 nursing program.

I've been following the MDC Fall 2011 =) thread and I'm super excited for them, but now I'm even more excited since this time it's finally me who is applying to the nursing program.

So...who else is applying???? :redbeathe

O.k, so for my CPR class on Saturday, my professor is Gerardo Escobedo. For those who have taken the certification class at medical campus have you guys had this professor?

I had Escobedo for CPR about 2 weeks ago. DO NOT sweat it. The class was a joke, we did the test at the end as a group and the actual CPR part is done in a group... I was already CPR certified but it wasnt through American Heart so I needed to do the american heart one for nursing school and for my job. I have never had a CPR class like this where the teacher actually tells you that no one will fail and your cards are already printed up before class... But really dont worry, you wont have any issues. You dont need to buy the book, they give you a printed copy that you wont even need! Have fun, and try your best to learn as much as you can, as a nurse you will need to be profficient in CPR!

Thanks! It's like a sigh of relief. Even though it's just a certification, I still want to do great. I'm glad I don't have to buy the book. I spent enough money already with so much paperwork just for orientation day.

Btw for those students waiting, how's the process going so far? Any news from your email or medical campus?

To Jael11 and everyone out there

For a second my heart have stopped::uhoh21: an email from MDC...but not the acceptance one, !!!!!I am restlessly waiting for the big news!!!!!Please God make it happen!!!!!!!!

How do you feel my other friends waiting for it?

Any suggestions or advice from the blessed ones who are accepted????????

My score is 78 with 3.66 GPA and a 69.3 TEAS.

NOBODY KNOWS THE CUTOFF score I think, but someone posted that it may be around 79 or so according to the scores posted by people who were accepted!.

My score on the teas was 69.3 too! But I only have 3.6 gpa... =/

Hey nursing forum I need help with a question someone asked me, I wasn't sure since I haven't started my medical stuff yet. The question is if one of your titters comes back negative do you need to get the vaccine?
