MDC Spring 2012 :)

Hi guys!

I was hoping to get to know some of the people that will be applying to the Spring 12 nursing program.

I've been following the MDC Fall 2011 =) thread and I'm super excited for them, but now I'm even more excited since this time it's finally me who is applying to the nursing program.

So...who else is applying???? :redbeathe

Hey nursing forum I need help with a question someone asked me, I wasn't sure since I haven't started my medical stuff yet. The question is if one of your titters comes back negative do you need to get the vaccine?

Alex,

Yes if it comes back negative for no antibodies(immunity) then you will have to get the vaccine. If you were born the in the U.S., you most likely don't have to worry. You might want to contact the Nursing Department to see if you need the vaccine done by orientation. However, I heard you can possibly extend it til the end of the year if they're is any issues. In the case your not immune, and don't get your vaccines by a certain period, you won't be able to participate in any clinicals.

Hey guys,

For those waiting, I just got an email at 6:08pm for PART-TIME Generic at Medical. My score is TEA's: 72.8, GPA: 3.6.

I will obviously be denying my seat because I already accepted a full-time seat for Generic at Medical last week.

Has anyone completed Step 8 of our checklist which is to register a student ATI account? Don't we all have account already, since we took the TEAS? Thank you in advance

In the teas I got 78 and as for science gpa I am not completely sure but I think its like 3.3. I am not sure if micro Lab is calculated in the gpa
