MDC Spring 2012 :)

Hi guys!

I was hoping to get to know some of the people that will be applying to the Spring 12 nursing program.

I've been following the MDC Fall 2011 =) thread and I'm super excited for them, but now I'm even more excited since this time it's finally me who is applying to the nursing program.

Hello everyone

Congrats to everyone that got accepted!

I have been following the posts for awhile. I am waiting to see if I got in, however I dont feel very encouraged.

My Nat Science GPA is 3.2 and Teas was 72 so my qualifying score of 75.2 seems low.

It seems like this most recent round of acceptance letters where in the 78 to 76.18

Hello everyone! I've been following these posts for quite some time but have yet to register or post until today.

I applied for the full time Generic, still haven't heard back. :uhoh21:

Mishell and Faith1218 we seem to be in the same position. I'm feeling rather discouraged as well. I don't remember my exact TEAS score, but I do know it was in the high 60's, 68 or 69. And my science GPA was a 3.2. Seems rather low compared to everyone else.

And congrats to everyone who got accepted!!!

After this week, one last batch of emails will go out. Stay positive, who knows you guys just might be next to receive an acceptance form.

Another thing you guys can do to shorten the wait is to go to medical campus. Ask to speak to the an adviser and see if you made it on the list but haven't received an email. I remember last week when I went to medical to turn in my baptist scholars package in. I over heard a conversation between a student and an adviser and the adviser told the student to wait. When the adviser came back she told the lady she was on the list and is in the program. But she hadn't received an email yet.

Now here's the thing, what she was talking about I have no idea. What program she got accepted into, I have no idea. But hey it doesn't hurt.

Stay positive Faith,Mishell,and Nessa 612 cause they are going to send more emails!I know what you are going through right now, and a positive attitude will help a lot !I most likely accept the accelerated spot so another generic spot will be available!!!!!!!!!Take care and be strong cause you may be the next on the list!!!!!!!!

I'm really happy for the newly accepted. Congratulations to you all. For the ones still waiting, I can only imagine how frustrated you must be, but stay positive, you should receive the news in a few days.
