I was hoping to get to know some of the people that will be applying to the Spring 12 nursing program.

I've been following the MDC Fall 2011 =) thread and I'm super excited for them, but now I'm even more excited since this time it's finally me who is applying to the nursing program.

For those who are still waiting;I just spoke with Dawn the academic adviser at MDC, and she told me that the next round emails are gone be sent in the next couple of weeks or so, but also told me to keep checking my email cause they may be coming any day after today!!!!!!

How did everyone do getting your Baptist Scholar packets submitted on time?

Zepp what a crazy week, I was able to turn in my application last minute to Miss Diamond and I saw many students doing the same. I was told we will be getting called next week to schedule an interview, best of luck to everyone....God Bless

I aslo turned in my app for the scholars. I was pretty busy with students turning in apps. I hope a few of us from the thread get the schoalarship.

I haven't been on here for a lil while, so I couldn't reply to your post. I'm SOOO happy that you found out accelerated is paid for! WOW! that makes me incredibly excited! And I'm happy that you chose accelerated now! I look forward to seeing you at the orientation!

I am going to call on Monday to find out more info, but what did you mean that they have to make sure that you really can't find a job? Aren't you working? I am, but I won't be in January. I will be leaving my job. Will "leaving" a perfectly good job disqualify me from the scholarship? I'm sorry to bombard you with questions that I should ask when I call them, but I'm eager to know!

I turned in my application for the baptist scholars program yesterday early in the morning, the wait wasn't that long since I was one of the first students there. I asked Dawn a one or two questions, and I was out of there. After, I went to my physician's appt. to start the long medical assessment, and vaccines exams. Which I won't be done until the week of orientation.

How is everyone else keeping up with the requirements needed by orientation?
