Neyla I'll be turning everything Friday I'm also gathering everything together a lot of stuff with only a week time frame, I feel that was unfair. The essay is only a page long right short and sweet...lol....See you guys Saturday for the CPR class at Kendall.

I went today to the Dr's appointment and I was expecting a lot of vaccines and tests, but they just draw some blood and tested me for TB. I have to go again this Friday for the reading of the TB test and then again on Monday for the reading of the 2nd test. They didn't give me any shot apparently because they will test my blood first to see if I'm immune, and if I'm not I guess they will give me those shots. I also had the physical and it was pretty quick!

I'm actually really happy because this is my last step!

Oh btw! do you guys know if we have to get the background check results at the school? Or do we just take the confirmation email to orientation?

Could you tell us some more info that you found out about the workforce scholarship? I wanted to go to the orientation, but I could not get off work. What is the deadline to apply. What are they looking for? Are they covering accelerated students? Any info you can give me will be GREATLY appreciated until I can work out something to get to the orientation.

Yisy the lady that did my background check said everything gets sent out to Miami Dade you don't have to do anything.

BTW guys for those who are inquiring what the cut off score was for this terms first round of acceptance; I have calculated the scored we have shared here on the thread and by these calculations it seems the cut off was again in the low 80's (for this original cut). I assume the second cut to to fill the declined spots will begin in the high 70's. Best of luck to those waiting.

There is no deadline, but you have to keep in mind that it takes a while for them to approve you (they have to make sure you really can't find a job). I don't know if they cover accelerated. You are going to have to call them.

By the way, Generic program is FULLY paid for by the south fl workforce, so is accelerated. I just found out

OH NOOO! I was gonna apply for the Baptist scholarship but I completely forgot to order my transcript from MDC ! Idk what to do, I ordered a couple a while ago but I never went to pick them up. Do you guys think they might still have them?

Coren, I'm on the same mission I think 1 week was not enough to apply for the Baptist Program, I have everything ready letter of recommendations, application, essay, but now I'm only missing my transcripts. I going over there tomorrow and hopefully they can print out our transcripts right there. Praying for the best good luck

At least I'm not the only one. I really hope they can make an exception because it's such a short amount of time. I really don't wanna go to CPR/BLS class on Saturday feeling all sad because I wasn't able to get all my things in for the scholarship.

I am also inn the same boat with regards to the transcripts.

I really hope they can print these out for us when we turn in the other documents.
