Ugh, me too!
My principal was waiting on me to discuss an issue that was apparently still hanging from Friday. Gotta love a concussion that happens as I'm walking out the door on Friday afternoon!
It's all gone downhill from there.

7th grade boys are the bane of my existence.
So are their parents.
Here ya go:
yeah - it's down right gray in my neighborhood too. No rain yet though. That's coming this afternoon in time for me to get back into by blanket cocoon

Good grief! I had a kiddo crying hysterically because they didn't want to go home!! I'm sorry but you hit the magic number on the old thermometer, skin is so pale I can almost see right through her. Eyes red with dark circles and c/o belly ache. Go home little one, go home with mom, please.

Sent home 4 who vomited over the weekend and still feel like 10 miles of bad road. WHY do parents rush them back to school???
I filled page one of visit log. On to page two.

Had a dad call and berate me because his daughter has lice. She was scratching so much she couldn't concentrate. He had the nerve to say "it must be nice to make salary and be able miss whenever you want!" To which I quickly put him in his place as I DO NOT make salary. And little does he know, he probably makes more than I do. Sir, I cannot help it that when I sent her home on Wednesday that you didn't treat her, is what I wanted to say. (according to the child no tx, dad says he did.)
"She feels singled out!" Okay, well tell her to stop telling everyone she has lice, I know I didn't tell, and her teacher didn't tell...
"I'm taking her to get her head-shaved!" You do that, it will really help with her feeling singled out.
