Love AN...Too much...Goodbye

Published

I've only been on AN for a couple of weeks, but it's already became too much of a good thing. Gonna take a break and go look for my wife and kids, lol.

"How could anyone leave this place?" she asked, dreamily.

OK.......

Here is one from the archives.....

Warning....it is written to the tune of a Christmas song. But maybe thinking about Christmas will cool you off.

I thought this was going to be one of those "you all suck so I'm taking my toys and going home" swansongs.

:roflmao:

Enjoy your break, hope you dont have to look too hard for the family.:)

I know the feeling. I just got home from a 700+ mile drive. Am I getting anything accomplished, other than checking in here ...of course not!

It's really good to hear I'm not the only addict. I come to the site intending to "check in," then I spend hours reading and posting lol.

I'm supposed to be sleeping now lol.

...And I just woke up!

I pour my coffee, settle in to the sofa, and grab my laptop-notebook for all the latest 'news', as if it was the morning paper.

I'm sitting in my car in the Walmart parking lot on the mobile site. It's 104 out, I'd rather sit in my air conditioned car effing around with you all than walk the 200 feet into store.

True story.

Walmart can have that effect on people, especially when they're busy. I had to go in there yesterday (a Saturday afternoon) to get a copy of my flu vaccine record for my next clinical site...Took them forever to figure out how to pull it up in the computer and I hope that they were swiping my license to look up that record, not for mistakingly logging several sudafed purchases or something. My husband said as we were leaving that Walmart is the only store that you can walk into as an average well do do middle class citizen and leave feeling like total white trash.
