I've only been on AN for a couple of weeks, but it's already became too much of a good thing. Gonna take a break and go look for my wife and kids, lol.

You should probably look for those pets, too. They have this unfortunate habit of getting all still and gooey after you forget about them for a while.

I heard they get stiff and covered in fuzz, but that's just what I hear. Haven't actually FOUND any...!
AC/HD, you do realize your topic title reads like a suicide note....right?

I can relate. I just got back today from 2 weeks vacation. The yard and house are a mess; I should be texting people to let them know I'm home. But here I am - moth to the flame!

You have more self-discipline than I do, so it's probably a good thing my kids were old enough to feed themselves when I joined! You're always welcome back!

A break is a good thing. Had to do it myself when I got over-involved on this site to mine and my family's detriment. The internet can be very addicting. Enjoy your break.

Over the 10+ years I've had my Allnurses.com account, I've amassed an embarrassingly high post count of 31,000+ to date. There needs to be an Allnurses.com Anonymous 12-step group or something of that nature.
I'm not sure a 12-step would work for you... the first step is admitting you're powerless over AN... Senior Moderator.

When I get too obsessed with this place I delete the app for a bit. The app makes it way too easy.
I'm on the app RIGHT now. In the grocery store.
