Love AN...Too much...Goodbye

Published

I've only been on AN for a couple of weeks, but it's already became too much of a good thing. Gonna take a break and go look for my wife and kids, lol.

He'll be back.

Hahahaha. That sounds so ominous!

Over the 10+ years I've had my Allnurses.com account, I've amassed an embarrassingly high post count of 31,000+ to date. There needs to be an Allnurses.com Anonymous 12-step group or something of that nature.

Yes Yes that's the answer. Let's make it a forum and then we can.....Nevermind.

You have more self-discipline than I do, so it's probably a good thing my kids were old enough to feed themselves when I joined! You're always welcome back!

We'll see if he has self-discipline, lol. This thread is like that last piece of pie or cigarette. The road to Hell is paved with good intentions, my dear departed Mom used to say.

I didn't even know you were here, and now you're going away?

Well, I hope you find your family. Maybe you could keep an online daily diary of your search....

Acute was one of those posters that jumped right in and started stirring the pot, but not in an obnoxious was, in Acute way.

I'll have to investigate; he must not have been on any of the treads I visit.

ETA: Okay, I just checked his posts and oddly enough I'd encountered most of them. Apparently I wasn't impressed enough to make note of his screen name.

I'm sitting in my car in the Walmart parking lot on the mobile site. It's 104 out, I'd rather sit in my air conditioned car effing around with you all than walk the 200 feet into store.

True story.

Well, going to Walmart would be going to the dark side, so yes, you should sit in your car and be on AN.

I too am an AN addict. Just got back from a week at the beach. We were supposed to have Wifi. We did, but it went in and out....just like the tide. I was trying to keep an eye on things. I would be right in the middle of reading a thread......and poof......

We just got home and I had to log in........before I even went to the BR!!

I have to be on here all the time.......it's my job....and I do love it!!

There are a couple of songs on here somewhere about being addicted to AN.

Which, if I recall correctly, you may/may not have had a part in composing, tn. ;)

Oh come ON now.

Bring it.

OK.......

Here is one from the archives.....

Warning....it is written to the tune of a Christmas song. But maybe thinking about Christmas will cool you off.
