In my Internet travels I came across these vintage comic books from the fifties about "Linda Carter, Student Nurse" and all of the "warmth, drama and romance of a nurse in a big city hospital".

Old romance-comics are funny enough, but the nursing student angle of these makes them all the more funny. Maybe I just have a weird sense of humor.

Here's one for all my fellow third shifters.

I love how over half these books feature the nurse talking to herself about her love life, while more or less ignoring the patient. I guess that's just what nursing was like before men entered the field. :)

When I first saw the title of this post, I thought to myself: "was Wonder Woman (Linda Carter) a nursing student before becoming an actress?" LOL Thank you for posting these comics, they're hysterical!
