Lice found, but not on head

What do you guys do if the teacher reportedly sees a louse, or the student brings one in taped to their pass, but after doing a head check, you don't see any live lice or nits?

I had this same thing happen. Teacher and IA said the louse was crawling down the students face, they stuck it to a piece of tape and brought it to me. Not a single nit or louse in the kids hair. I even checked the kids that sit around her because it was bugging (pun intended) the heck out me. The rogue louse had us all baffled that day.

When I was in HS, our bio lab had a poster with a enlarged pictures of lice. It skeeved me out to no end. During a test I just couldn't take it anymore, I stood on my chair, turned it around, and stuck back on the wall backwards... Now I pin little baggies of them to my bulletin board?

I have this plush lice in my office

Kids pick it up and ask what it is, when I say lice the poor guy literally flies across the room sometimes.

Where is this from? I want to get like 10 of them and make the bulletin board behind me feature them all. I think it'll be effective in keeping people out of my office ?
