Lehman College 2018 Fall Generic BSN/ABSN applicants!

Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!

I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!

I am officially freaking out... no Micro grade is posted yet...

Not to be impatient but when exactly is she going to post them???? 11:59pm? Tomorrow? Next week? Did she enter them but forget to submit them? I thought they'd be up last Thursday. Micro is the only grade I'm waiting for.

I know right. I know that ALL grades have to be posted by June 1 for all courses and all professors - it is a CUNY wide system. I know how nursing department requires that all grades be submitted by June 1 so they can start reviewing the applications. Tomorrow is the last day for her to submit the grades. OMG.

CUNYfirst will not even let me sign in. I hope this isn't delaying professors from posting grades even longer.

It was being glitchy for hours but it started working for me a little while ago. I'm sure this will delay some professors from entering their grades. Still no microbiology grade. :/

It sucks. But then again, it is not our problem. I am sure nursing department will not accept that as an excuse for grades not to be up by June 1.

Will any of you be taking HIN 269 this summer?

I wanted to take it during session 2 but when I went to get permission about three weeks ago, they told me they don't give permission for it unless you're already in the nursing program. I found that odd because a few people I know have already taken HIN 269.

Cool. I'll be in session one. I figured I'd be brave and take it during session one, leaving a spot in session two open for someone who is waiting until after they are officially accepted to register for it. haha

edit: ugh, I keep accidentally posting new comments instead of replying to threads. my bad.

This happened to me as well and made me very angry! I waited in the nursing department for an hour before I was finally seen by an advisor and told that permission was only being given to people who are already RNs since they need the class and those who have not yet been accepted do not need it yet.

I saw that there were still many seats left so I went back the day before the last day of advisement and successfully got permission. I definitely suggest trying again once the department starts summer advisement hours.
