Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!
I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!
Really? The one I looked at says the 30th*. I made a typo in my previous post. Here it is if you want to look at it. I believe that grade rosters are what the professors use to submit our grades. We just receive our grades. They're pretty much the same thing though.
I bookmarked the academic calendar months ago and never checked for an updated version. I've been looking at an earlier version all semester instead of the latest.

Waiting for my post with the link to be approved. Turns out I had an academic calendar last updated on 10/10/2017 bookmarked. The one you linked is from 12/13/2017 so it has more up-to-date information. This makes more sense because I couldn't understand why anything would be due on the sunday before memorial day.
@FutureNurseInfo
Well, I think the generic and accelerated are on the same boat. There are some who will retain the information, and there are some who don't. The generic have the opportunity to review information they learned in the semester during their breaks. However, for accelerated, if you focus on the core classes (301, 303, 304, 405, and 408 I think), then you'll be ready for the NCLEX. Plus you can take it any time you want. I feel like I've retained a good amount of information. You'll see that 303 is just 301 but with a lot more emphasis on pathophysiology and pharmacology.

Thanks, man! Can I ask you another question? It has been stressing me out lately... Is pahto taught in the program? I was looking at the sample schedule and could not find it... I do hope to God it is not a pre-req!

Yeah, Lehman uploads multiple versions of their semester calendars so you'll have to keep checking back. Yep, it would be sort of pointless to have everything due by memorial day. Professors are busy traveling and spending time with their families. They won't really have time to upload grades--even if they're supposed to. Anyway, hopefully we'll all get our grades by tomorrow.
I've been reading through the comments, I also applied to College of New Rochelle and got in. I actually have gotten pretty good vibes from the advisors and coordinators and it seems like a good place. I was even able to register for classes and they allowed me to pick the time and days from their selection that worked better for me. I would advise applying there as a backup just in case. But, like many others I have no idea how I would afford a program like that.
Also, if you have pending pre requisites for New Rochelle and you do want to apply, you can take the courses at University of Phoenix. They have 5 week courses that can be completed in time for the first day of classes. New Rochelle will accept courses taken with University of Phoenix.
As for Lehman, We are a few weeks away from finding out and I am so excited!!!
I am wishing everyone the best and hope we all get an acceptance letter soon :)
