Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!
I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!
The program is very demanding. There are ppl I know that worked even full time, but put a toll of themselves. Especially when you have two exams in one day. Which will happen every semester. In my honest opinion you can try out part time when you begin, and see how you can adjust once the first exam comes. After the first exam, if you don’t do well on exams then you should put work on hold. Though you may only have three days of classes, you will have one full 12 hr day in clinical and another day to do stimulation. So if your job is flexible try it, if not put it on hold. The ppl I know that worked full/part time didn’t work the spring semester because they didn’t want to make the same mistake. Good luck.

Usually I would have to bring it in, in person. But they also get the scores. You can also email them due to circumstances

I know this is a year old but was wondering how you manage working part-time and in the nursing program. I am considering continuing to work overnight at the hospital while in the generic program. Was the classes too demanding? should I not work at all and take out loans ( I prefer not to)? Any advice will be really appreciated!
