Lehman College 2018 Fall Generic BSN/ABSN applicants!

Published

Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!

I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!

Nobody has applied yet????

Im planning to, Im taking my hesi soon so once i get the results ill post but right now Im at a 3.5 GPA planning on bringing it to a 3.71 with A's in Micro, and Orgo

I was going to wait until I took the HESI to respond (because there's no point in sending in an application if you didn't pass) but since another person replied, I'll reply too.

I'm taking the hesi in a few weeks. My current pre-req GPA is a 3.83. I'm hoping to keep it in the 3.8 range (or bring it up to a 3.9 if I get all As in microbio and orgo). I'll be applying to the generic program.

Hey guys!

I plan on applying to Lehman BSN for the fall but I have been trying to get in contact with someone from admin about my prereqs. I took micro at the local community college near me and it was only 3 credits (there was a lab with it). I don't want to waste my time/money applying if they are going to deny my application because the class was not 4 credits. Does anyone have any advise?

OMG I am so happy people are replying!!! To be sure, I think you should contact the bio department at Lehman and ask. I know they do require Micro that has 4 credits.

I have not taken HESI yet, as well. I am going to take it in a few weeks.

Hey, everyone!

I took my HESI today and passed everything (thankfully). I'm going to start my application soon. One question: does anyone know where I can find the General Education Requirements Form?

If you apply for ABSN, you do not need one!

Hi, so happy you passed the HESI! I am taking it in about 2 weeks. Could you be so kind to tell what did you see most of in each section?
