As a CUNY student, I'd receive many emails from CUNY's School of Professional Studies about their nursing graduate programs. I graduated from nursing school with a less than stellar GPA (about 3.2), does anyone know how difficult CUNY's SPS is to get into? I'd assume it isn't hard or else they wouldn't do so much advertisement but you really never know. Can anyone provide me with more insight into what kind of GPAs get accepted? Thanks!

The line I bolded is extremely lame. Ganging up on someone because of an interaction they had with one individual or because they rubbed a single person the wrong way is very juvenile.

I agree with this post. I did not feel like I needed multiple shirts but definitely felt like I needed multiple pairs of pants. I'm not sure if it is just because they're white but I felt like my pants got dirtier than my top. I also do not tend to do a white load of laundry as frequently as I do a colored load so I was forced to do a good amount of hand-washing. Save yourself the headache... and wrinkles.

Hi, I am a current lehman student who just finished her first year. I purchased two uniform shirts last year but ended up wearing one and never touching the other. Does anyone want to purchase the unused one off of me? It has just been sitting at the top of my closet in its original plastic while I have been washing the other one over and over hoping the material will finally soften and become more flattering (it hasn't). The shirt is a woman's xs and I'd be able to give it to you in person on campus. Please message me if you are interested. Thanks

What I am saying is that she is not stressed about our documents because technically, if they are turned in after she gets back, they will still be turned in within enough time of our first day reporting to an actual hospital. She had us stress out on our end yet knew that on her end she had plenty of time. It was pretty selfish.

None of us thought about the fact that on (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) end, documents being due two or so weeks before our first day of clinical means first day we will be in a hospital. Not our first day of clinicals where we'll be at lehman.

wow, I rushed my doctor to finish my documents and I took time off of work for my appointment. She should've been more transparent about how much time we realistically had.

Does anyone know what hours the nursing department is open on weekdays? I need to know what time they open and close so I can drop off my documents around my work schedule!

My doctor told me on the day of my appointment that it would be in a few days later. I have been calling the front desk every day and they keep telling me it is not in yet. The woman on the phone will not speak with my doctor because she says this is a nursing issue not doctor issue and I asked the woman who answers the phone if I could get a referral to go somewhere else and she said no, but I doubt she actually knows wtf she is talking about.

My doctor's office hasn't had the tetorifice shot for two weeks and I need it. I've been calling every day asking if it is in yet and they keep telling me no. If they do not have it tomorrow I will have to go to City MD instead.

I just tried this again and this time it was successful! I was able to enroll in 301. She is working on it guys hopefully we'll recieve more information soon!

She said that she'd be giving permission to individuals little by little working at her own pace but will not email the group until everyone has been given permission. I used the 301 registration code she had written on the spreadsheet she showed us during orientation.

Fatima also told us that she will give us permission but not tell us until she is done giving it to everyone so I periodically try to enroll in classes to see if I have permission. I haven't been able to enroll yet but maybe one of you can?
