Leaving Your Job Due to Mandate

For those of you who have recognized your employer can terminate you for not taking the COVID vaccine and have decided on or are considering employment elsewhere please share your experiences here. How do you feel about having to make that choice? 

The purpose of this thread is not to condemn those making this decision or debate whether they should vaccinate or not.

Unreasonable anxiety.   Not based in reality, but It's wonderful that we live in America and you can go get another job that doesn't require vax.l

It is spread and it can kill.   A key issue with combating disease is the fact it spreads and kills.

You want to talk numbers about deaths from illnesses related to obesity?

Ironically, weren't a significant number of those who died from COVID obese? HELLO.  But we aren't mandating much to curb obesity.

I'm not likening obesity to covid, I'm likening death and health care challenges from one disease to another and how we respond.   The fact you didn't catch on to that is asinine.

Hey Boston, it may feel satisfying for you to use inflammatory language and personal criticism with your replies.  Just know that it significantly cripples your argument and makes it look pathetic.  What you have to say about FACTS is far more respectable.

This is a thread about vaccine; not about obesity.  Start another thread if you like.  Our rates of obesity make getting vaxxed even more imperative.

I saw an article where the vaccines were replaced with normal saline.  I know not funny. I still laugh. ?

You can't even say why ...  you just let your amygdala choose for you.  That inability to reason is evidence that you shouldn't be working in healthcare or in schools while unvaccinated.  Your judgement is flawed to the degree that you don't understand the risk you pose to others when your are infected.

Just because I didn't go into detail doesn't mean anything other than  my mind is made up about it. Im potentially leaving a career forever so you best believe I have done my research. It doesn't change the fact that Im nervous about it.

Nothing impossible with the mind. Maybe combine it with the Biofeedback.

I still recall Mr. Perfect who refused to get his malaria and dengue shots. He also refused to get them from my country. We were trapped in the island because of a deadly typhoon. Everything was closed. He was incapacitated for about two weeks. I called a doctor at her house for prescriptions. I went to the pharmacy to get the drugs. He was lucky that day. There was no boat to get him to an acute hospital. The men refused to transport him. They said we will die while trying to save one man. Another trips got him because of his reluctance to vaccines.

Another big trip, he was having respiratory problems but insisted to leave. I tagged and consoled myself. I packed his medications. Oh boy. He took them with alcohols. He didn't respect my inclination not to drink alcoholic beverages. He wasn't uneducated man. His doctor RX him "Exercise. Don't eat too much pastas."  It was classic. It was his big mistake to involve me in his doctor visit. I told the doctor that he ate too much and drunk alcohol with his medications. Snitch. ? 

For the past few months, he has been texting me(I don't accept calls from him) that he is dying, this, and that. His medications are way expensive. I think he has immune problem nowadays. I don't want to know. I shot back that he needs to take his medications as prescribed and follow up with his doctors. He said they just want his money. I gave up on him long time ago. I don't want to watch him die slowly. One of his doctors fired him. ? ?

You just can't say why you are nervous and so you are going to put yourself and all of your contacts at risk.  What is the purpose of coming to this forum to share your fears that you aren't even willing to name?

That's normal to fear something foreign. Ihave fears, too, but not vaccines. One of those worries is STD. I just got tested since my separation. I want the next person to be safe from me.

I take that to mean you're being a smarty I'll pull your card on it.  Suppose the government and employers decided to do that.  They tried something similar in NY by limiting the dispense of sugary drinks.  People had a hissy note that's done. 

What if employers requires exercise breaks or get fired? What if there was a limit on the amount of carbs you could buy?

You'd be cool with that mandate? What about society?
