June 2008 NCLEX support group

This thread is for any upcoming graduates taking NCLEX in June of 2008.

To start off with I would love to hear if anyone is taking Kaplan, or Drexel or other prep courses and why did you choose the one you did? I am looking into them and I am just not sure which one is best and why.

Hello to all,

I took my NCLEX yesterday and felt numb, dazed and confused by the time I got out of the testing center. My test cut off at 75 - 11 SATA -even had one with 8 different drugs in it, 1 med calc, prioritization, delegation, law, from what I can remember. I cannot even remember my first question.

Ok, so I just looked on the quick review results page that pearonvue e-mailed me when I got my ATT and it says two business days from the time you take your test...well, since I tested on a Saturday does that mean I am going to have to wait until TUESDAY to get my results?!?! If thats the case, I'm going to seriously go crazy! :eek:

Thanks to everyone for trying to keep my spirits up about this test! It was the most awful thing ever and I just pray that I passed because I really don't want to have to sit through that again! Well, the waiting game is still on and it sounds to me like it's going to be going on for a lot longer than I thought! I'll keep you all up to date! Thanks again! :heartbeat

I just got home and I feel horrible. I took 110 questions which is probably bad anyways. I had lots of priority, 10-15 SATA, but only 1 med calc. I feel like crap and it would be a serious miracle if I passed. My last question was priority too. I don't know what to think at this point. I hope for the best for you. Hang in there. We both have a long wait!!! Enjoy the time spent with friends. I am about to call up some of my friends now to go out. Still praying...

Hey need to be! I had you in my thoughts all day yesterday! :D Your test sounds so much better than mine! I think it's great news that your last question was a priority one! I don't know what to think at this point either, but all we can do is wait! What's done is done! I'm really hoping that we don't have to wait two business days and wait until Tuesday! I'll go insane! I hope you find great results and I am sure that you will be telling us your an RN here soon! Hang in there as well and just try to stay distracted and busy! I had a WHOLE pitcher of sangria to MYSELF last night! LOL My waitress thought I was crazy and wasn't allowed to give me a whole pitcher but when I told her my situation she gave in and let me have it! It was pretty great! I have to work the next three nights, which totally sucks, but oh well! Whatever I can do to keep my mind off this nasty test! Good luck, girl! I'll be anxious to hear good news from you! Hey lobo believe or not the BON was faster then the Pearson Vue, I look at it next day and the result was there, so I didn't had to expand the money on pearson vue.

Lobo, if you took your test on Saturday, quick results will be up on monday. I took mine friday morning and had my results this am, just a little over 48hrs. I know the wait is horrible!! Try to keep as busy as possible, I was much better when my mind was busy, than when it wasn't, then I just drove myself crazy trying to guess how I did. I will keep you in my thoughts and look forward to hearing good news from you tomorrow.

Pearson administers exams on Saturday, so hopefully, that's a 'business day' for your waiting period!!! :)

(Although, I do think somone had to wait until a Tuesday, but not sure of the reason....maybe Cali????)

If the BON takes part in quick results then you can get your results regardless on day 48 hours after sitting the exam. Some BON's do work quicker so do not but it is your decision whether to go for it or not

My BON updates daily so I am thinking that no matter what my results should be up tomorrow. I hope for your sake that yours are too. I went to bed so early last night because I just felt completely fried. I actually work tomorrow too. Not looking forward to being in a room with no internet because I really want to be able to check my results. I am freaking out. I guess there is nothing I can do to change it I just really hope that I pass. I hope that we both have great news tomorrow!:wtosts:

You know you passed. remember what I said after I took mine and I felt the same way so just get up in the morning at 8 and check because I tested on Sat. too and it is 48 hours, unfortunately I will not know what you find out until tomorrow night because I have to work but it's ok because those results are only a comformation of what we already know and that is, YOU ARE AN RN!!!!!!!

My BON is soooo slow at updating. I have friends who took their boards about 2 weeks ago and their names STILL aren't showing up on the website, so it looks like pearsonvue is going to be my only option right now! I'm at work right now and we are soooooo slow which is making the night drag on even more! My preceptor is going to make me check pearsonvue at midnight, even though I'm almost positive the results won't be up! I'm too scared to check at work...so I might just wait until the morning! Best of luck to you! I can't wait to hear from you in the morning!
