June 2008 NCLEX support group

This thread is for any upcoming graduates taking NCLEX in June of 2008.

To start off with I would love to hear if anyone is taking Kaplan, or Drexel or other prep courses and why did you choose the one you did? I am looking into them and I am just not sure which one is best and why.

I'm horrible at time zones but either way I'll be thinking about you. I can't believe its tomorrow. I am going crazy right now... Its completely insane that time went by that fast. Did you take the 3rd nclex sample test from Kaplan? Its in the q-bank. Just want to know if my scores are abou the same as yours.

I just woke up and am sort of in a panic! I can't believe that it's actually tomorrow! :banghead: I feel that there is SO much for to me to today but know that it's ridiculous to even try and cram anything else into this brain of mine at this point! OMG I didn't even know that there were sample tests!!!! I just look and saw that I have them! Now I'm even more panicked lol! I guess I know what I'll be doing today! I'll let you know my score when I take it! How'd you do on them? I took Question trainer 7 yesterday and got a 59%...sorta bummed about it, but at this point what can I do other than pray and hope for the best?! Did you take the Kaplan classes with an instructor? How'd you do on the readiness test? I got a 61% on that which said I had a 91% chance on passing the NCLEX and that was 3 weeks ago, so hopefully I have made enough improvements to PASS this beast! I am still feeling a little uncomfortable about pharm and am just praying that I don't get many med questions! :chuckle I'm going to try and do a few things this morning before heading to lunch with friends and beginning my afternoon of pampering! I am praying for you each and every step of the way regardless of time zones and I know that we can and will both pass! Thanks so much for all your support! OHHHHHH MY God!!!! He is so Glorious and Wonderful and most of all Faithful!! I PASS MY N-Clex just checked I am a RN now!!!:yeah::D:p:nurse::roll:yelclap::thankya: for those that still need to take really do Kaplan it is identical to n-clex but also do Saunders because that's where you will get the content to be able to answer the questions. For those that took the test and is waiting for the results, its totally normal to feel like you bomb the test and its actually good if you are feeling like that!! Thank you everybody here for the support, this place is awsome!!! Thank you TRAVELSOON for putting up with me hahhaha!!!

Just a note for the foreign nurses: I am originally from Brazil and my english is really bad as you can see when I type, but just have faith in your self and just go with your first choice!!!!

How would you compare trainer 6 to trainer 7? I am just about to take it but am dreading the 265 question thing. That is how long my first test was and I am not looking forward to sitting through that many questions again right now. I guess good practice though as I am going it planning on taking that many so if it shuts off sooner then it will be a pleasent surprise not to have to sit through more.

I did better on question trainer 6 (69%) than 7 (59%) so I think that 7 is harder. Maybe it was because of the length and I just got distracted and couldn't sit still? I also kept checking this website, checking my e-mail and facebook and myspace pages, so that probably didn't help to keep me focused! HAHA 265 questions is brutal and I pray that neither of us have to sit through that many questions, especially you since you had that many your first time! I too am just expecting to get 265 and am planning to be at the testing center for 6 hours! I am just going to hope for the best! Let me know how you do on question trainer 7! Good luck and I hope you get a good score! :heartbeat
