June 2008 NCLEX support group

This thread is for any upcoming graduates taking NCLEX in June of 2008.

To start off with I would love to hear if anyone is taking Kaplan, or Drexel or other prep courses and why did you choose the one you did? I am looking into them and I am just not sure which one is best and why.

Hi everyone I'm a new member here. I just took the nclex-rn and I'm still waiting for the results. I answered 265 items, and most of the questions were prioritizations. I just hope i pass this time because this is my second take already.

keeping my fingers crossed.

hello all! i took my nclex on the 17th awaiting my results. throughout the whole time i kept telling myself i'm gonna pass at 75. and all of sudden it stopped at 75 and i started panicking. i honestly don't know what to think. i'm kinda leaning more to the optimistic side... but it's just so hard to stay optimistic when you have to wait for your results.

anyways.... What i understand is that CA brn posts results within 3-5 days on the website? has anyone from California, who took the test on June 17th, find out anything yet? i've been looking at the website almost everyday. i've completely psyched my self out so much that i feel soo sick of thinking about and waiting for the results. i'm afraid to look at the website tomorrow. this is so stressful! i wish we can do quick results because i would have been able to check the results right now.

Dont panic. I have several friends who took the CA boards on the 17th and none of them are posted on the BRN site yet. I would think it would be tomorrow or the beginning of next week. Dont stress, I am sure that you did great.

Welcome to the thread. You test a day after me and I am also using Kaplan. I didn't do the classroom as I couldn't take that many days in a row off of work. I did do the complete online though. I think the tests are great practice in critical thinking. Your scores sound great. Just stay focused on continuing to get more right then wrong and I think you will do great. Good luck!!

OHHHHHH MY God!!!! He is so Glorious and Wonderful and most of all Faithful!! I PASS MY N-Clex just checked I am a RN now!!!:yeah::D:p:nurse::roll:yelclap::thankya: for those that still need to take really do Kaplan it is identical to n-clex but also do Saunders because that's where you will get the content to be able to answer the questions. For those that took the test and is waiting for the results, its totally normal to feel like you bomb the test and its actually good if you are feeling like that!! Thank you everybody here for the support, this place is awsome!!! Thank you TRAVELSOON for putting up with me hahhaha!!!

Just a note for the foreign nurses: I am originally from Brazil and my english is really bad as you can see when I type, but just have faith in your self and just go with your first choice!!!!

Those are great scores! You should be great! Just keep doing the practice questions and review any content that you get wrong. I test tomorrow so I am completely nervous. It seems to be the trend around here. Good luck studying.

Actually if you live in CT wouldn't you be finished before me?? I'm so horrible at time zones....so sorry if I'm way off! HAHA Either way, I'll be thinking of you and keeping my fingers crossed for you! You're going to do great! I think that taking a trip to the testing center is a great idea and have heard that suggestion from a lot of people! Its supposed to lessen your anxiety so you know exactly where your going! The testing center here is right by my house, so I don't really need to do a drive by. Your study plan for the rest of your time sounds great too! Hang in there, we are almost DONE and will both soon be R.N.'s! Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers! WE CAN DO THIS! :D :heartbeat Just remember to breathe!

I'm horrible at time zones but either way I'll be thinking about you. I can't believe its tomorrow. I am going crazy right now... Its completely insane that time went by that fast. Did you take the 3rd nclex sample test from Kaplan? Its in the q-bank. Just want to know if my scores are abou the same as yours.
