World Canada CRNE

I don't want to start the posts too early, but I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it is actually supposed to take to get results this year. I know that some people I worked with last summer got theirs in early-mid July. I checked out the CNO website and the CNA website (and a few others along the way) one says 8-12 weeks and the other says 4-6. I'm already driving myself crazy...if I have to wait another 8+ weeks I'll end up really going off the deep end :uhoh3:

Looking at last years June thread results started appearing in the various provinces around the 15th July onwards

HI, I'm really worried that I won't make it for this CRNE. Its my second time and I did not answer about 25 questions at the end. There was simply no time. Its very unfair that the CNA set us up like this, and claiming that there are some test questions. Can someone tell me my options now...should I explore NCLEX or go for classes to prepare for the third CRNE :(

I'm super nervous as well but just relax and wait for the results. Once they are in then you can make a decision as to where to go from there on. Look at different resources: prep courses and books etc. Good luck everyone!!

What do you mean?

What do you mean?

I mean, what are my options now? Should I start taking the initiative and explore NCLEX, or hope, hope, hope for the best for the CRNE? Frankly, I feel sick in my stomach because last June was my second attempt at the CRNE.

Somebody please help and give me some suggestions, websites for NCLEX, tell me straight if I can work in the States when I failed the CRNE, etc, etc...

Thanks for all advise. :(

hey, anyone know what the fail rate is over canada. Here in Newfoundland I know 3 people failed out of 200. How you find the exam? I got myself drove nuts with the ones (12 for sure) that I got wrong. ugh.

The Canadian Nurses' Association publishes bulletins containing all sorts of statistics about the CRNE. The most recent one is here: http://www.cna-nurses.ca/CNA/documents/pdf/publications/CRNE_Bulletin_April_2010_e.pdf and the breakdown of successful writers is on page 3.

Please don't jeopardize your potential registration by revealing the contents of the exam in public.

I found it pretty difficult. Much trickier than I expected...

Last Year the earliest results were those who were unsuccessful (starting around July 8th). Successful results were out within a few days after this. I am in NS and anxiously awaiting. This is my first writing and the wait is killing me. Good luck to all those who wrote
