June 2010 CRNE Results

World Canada CRNE

Published

I don't want to start the posts too early, but I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it is actually supposed to take to get results this year. I know that some people I worked with last summer got theirs in early-mid July. I checked out the CNO website and the CNA website (and a few others along the way) one says 8-12 weeks and the other says 4-6. I'm already driving myself crazy...if I have to wait another 8+ weeks I'll end up really going off the deep end :uhoh3:

Congrates everyone those who passed...wait is killing here, given exam in Toronto.....Does passing score mentioned in the results.....does anyone knows the passing score of june CRNE????????

Congrats everyone!!! Nothing for me (near Ottawa) :'( I feel like I'm stalking the poor mailman haha!

Do the Eastern provinces tend to get marks back before the rest of the country or...?

Specializes in ICU, ER.

I have heard that Ontario is usually the last province (even though they're sent from here!???) Whether that's true or not, I don't know. I hope not!!

Specializes in NICU, PICU, PCVICU and peds oncology.

from faq - the canadian registered nurse examination (crne)

  • what's a passing mark on the crne? the standard passing score ranges from 59-68%. but the standard passing score is determined by the level of difficulty of the exam as established by the crne examination committee. each exam is set by the committee using a pool of thousands of stock questions created by nursing educators across the country. the pool of questions is constantly changing, as is the composition of the exam. no two exams are ever more than superficially similar. the actual mark achieved only matters as it compares to the standard set for that specific exam. results are reported to the candidate as either "pass" or "fail". occasionally the cna will provide a score to the failing candidate in an effort to assist with succeeding on subsequent attempts but generally speaking you will not receive a score.

Historically that seems to be the case. CNA is in Ottawa, CNO is in Toronto... Canada Post is very inefficient... and Ontario has the largest number of candidates each session, so there are far more results to be administered to. The College gets the results then someone has to go through them all and enter them into the database with each candidate's file. Then when ALL of them have been dealt with the results get mailed to the candidates. Ergo the Maritime provinces with their much smaller population and therefore far fewer results will see theirs first.

Also waiting here in Toronto :crying2::crying2::crying2:. Congratulation to all who pass. I hope I get my happy ending too.

Hi girls, am posting for the first time, though i read all the threads regularly. I stay in Winnipeg and i wrote my exam in Ontario. All my friends have all seen their results too, and its like everyone passed, i am indeed happy for everyone who has passed, while patiently waiting for my turn. Anxiety is killing me. Pls does anyone know when ontario will post our results???????????:confused::confused::confused:. Am dyinggggggggggg. hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllppppppppppppppp.

It sounds like Ontario might be one of the last provinces to see starting seeing results in the mail..

is any one from toronto got their result.........if yes? please tell us....congrax to those who pass

Sorry to let you know guys and gals but results have started to come in. Results have arrived on the East Coast and in Manitoba. Certain Provinces will take a little longer (Ontario, to name one of them). So keep your eye open in the mail!!
