June 2010 CRNE Results

World Canada CRNE

I don't want to start the posts too early, but I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it is actually supposed to take to get results this year. I know that some people I worked with last summer got theirs in early-mid July. I checked out the CNO website and the CNA website (and a few others along the way) one says 8-12 weeks and the other says 4-6. I'm already driving myself crazy...if I have to wait another 8+ weeks I'll end up really going off the deep end :uhoh3:

Hey everyone, congrats to all who passed. I got my results this morning and I PASSED:)

Good luck to everyone!!!!

Good am everyone... Anyone heard about BC?? super anxious here now...:uhoh3::redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe:crying2:

I called the CNO today (for something unrelated) and while I had the girl on the phone I asked if results had been mailed yet and she said no they would be mailed six weeks from the exam date so apparently they won't even be mailed in Ontario until next Wed :(

Me too!!

Still waiting for results in Ontario. I am going crazy! Has anyone passed from the East who truly thought that they weren't going to make it? I barely finished on time and did not feel confident re: many of my answers. Currently working under a temp license and have a lot to loose... Also heard that people who fail-especially those working with a temporary license are the first to know... anyone else hear this? Also did everyone get their result by mail or was your registration posted online with your provincial regulatory body? Argh!....:nurse:?????? When will this be over!!!

Sorry.... I am so sick about all this I almost forgot say a huge congrats to all the successful writers!! :yeah:

To all who wrote congrats, i have been a nurse for at least 20 years. I have worked many specialty units including critical care.....i felt good about my myself going in this exam. I hold lic for six states. I too had to rush to finish and it was a very difficult exam. Anyone whom passes this exam should know that they are ready to take on anything !!!! Nursing is a life long experience of educating an upgrading....if any albertians read this could you let me know so i can have an idea...when the results are in. Application for r.n. Process ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,from start to finish has been 16 months,,,,,,,,,,,,,to those of you whom are international.....best of luck.......p.s........it may be a while before i talk to any of you..back to travelin.......and to my fellow canadians the u.s. Exam is a piece of cake..........the difference is in the style of information presented. Your licence will be a stepping stone for you to build ... Your specialty skills! Every passing r.n. Deserves a party!!!! ( a party !*&*&**!) lolo

as always sandra.....yes im shouting for all the people who have achieved passing even the course!!!!

NCLEX is more about the science of nursing while the CRNE is more of the art of nursing. What is more special about the CRNE is the fact that there are more psychosocial questions where you are torn between two close answers and somehow it seems like both are correct answers. I could only count by the fingers questions where answers ca be searched in medical surgical books or other nursings textsbook. I got my degree in the US and the NCLEX was nothing like it. They're both difficult tests but with NCLEX, there are just few of those psychosocial questions and more of anatomy/physiology and pathophysiology type of problems which can also be very difficult if given in the context of carrying out the nursing process and prioritizing care. I am also anxious of the outcome of the CRNE as I was always debating on two choices of the Part 1 of the test. I'm here in Mississauga and always checking on this blog for updates.
