July 2009 NCLEX Support Group

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I didn't see a July 09 support group thread up, so I thought I'd get it started.

I'm taking the NCLEX-RN July 3rd for the first (and hopefully only) time. I figured I'd get it done before the holiday weekend so I could at least enjoy some of the time off instead of spending the holiday chained to textbooks...as I've done for the last two years.

Good luck to all of us in July!

Wat's the pearson trick??? is there a book that published that includes the pearson trick???

I stopped at 75 questions. I had no math what so ever.. but i'm good in math.. i really wanted math questions. .. my friend took his today and had like 6 math questions. ...i came out feeling horrible.. i think i failed.. I had 6 SATA.. 2 put in order questions.. maybe 5 questions about med.. but i don't remember the rest of it.. i know everyone comes out feeling bad.. but i really feel like i didn't do that good.. i just went blank.. i really want to pass.. now just gonna have to wait..

the only thing you can do now is wait. do yourself a favor and not stress yourself out over this. you're done!! and like u said, everyone comes out feeling bad. just think positive!! good luck! keep us posted!

passion268gen.. pearson trick is when you log in to pearson website .. (make sure that the history said "delivery successful") and try to re-register yourself to take nclex again.. if you go all the way to creditcard payment .. that means you fail.. but if you get the pop-up saying something like to contact the board for assisstance.. that means you pass.. there is a thread about pearsonvue trick.. you should check it out.. so far people that try it .. said it's real.. i tried it and got pop-up.. but i haven't received the result yet.. so i just have to wait and see.. good luck to you..

thank you gracie10u... positive thinking .. positive thinking... i will do..

I, on the other hand, still have 2 days until I can breathe a little. aaaahh! so nervous!!

I took my test July 9th and thought with horror that I must have failed after my test shut off after 86 questions. The waiting was the worst, but I passed on my first try. Don't give up, study all that you know, reviewing everything you've learned and if you have a med-surg text it might not hurt to just glance over the things you may not be strong on. Good luck to all who will be taking it!

So,this is my first post here. I have been LPN since 2001 and took my RN boards yesterday!!! I still don't know how I feel. I am anxiously awaiting my results. I am hoping to have results today!! A few of my friends took yesterday as well and their results are already on OHIO board of nursing website! Wish me luck and good luck and congrats to those who already took and those still awaiting!!

P. S. I also tried the Pearson Vue trick and it will not let me register again!!?? SO maybe a good sign!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone! Good luck to those of you who have taken the test ad are waiting on results! I myself take the test tomorrow at 8am. So, wish me luck too, please?

I feel pretty good about it. Was really super nervous and anxious about a week ago, but when I felt anxious, I studied more which helped.

I will keep you all posted. In the mean time, pray for me too!!:D

well, i just got back from my nclex exam at 8am. it shut off at 75, and i'm not too sure how i did. but i'm not crying and that's what's important! haha...

i can't believe there were at least 10 meds in my exam...just asking what relief or what to look out for... i've never even seen most of those meds in my entire nursing career...not even in pharm!

hopefully, i passed. i can only pray now.

good luck to everyone else!

hint: study infection control!! i had a lot of those and i've seen many others say that their exam had a lot of it as well.
