  1. Yesdog- Thank you! I am sure that if you have that feeling than you did fine! It does sound like god was on your side. :lttang:Before you know it, you will be working! You should still be able to try the pearson vue "trick". Have you done that yet? For the rest of you I am a prayin' :plsebeg:
  2. yesdog-That is too funny. And to think I lost so much sleep over those stupid lab values. But, at least now we will know them for work. When did you test, and did you find out your results yet? I found out today that I PASSED!!! Woot Woot!!!
  3. Hi everybody! I took the nclex-rn on july 16th. I too did the trick, and got the pop-up. Paid for my quick results today and I too passed! Woo Hoo! Now to get a job. Congrats to everyone who has passed. And to the soon to be test takers, Do the trick, it helps ease your anxiety
  4. Hi there! I am sorry for how you are feeling, and I can relate. I was freaking out about my test about a week before as well. I know it is nervewrecking especially when you have no idea what will be on the test. I posted a thread similar to yours and I got some great advice. When you are having those feelings of pure anxiety, that is the best time to study more. It sounds stupid, but it really helped calm me down. I took my test Yesterday, and I got 75 questions. I really felt pretty good about it afterwards, and felt like I really knew what I was doing when I answered the questions. I prepared well, as you are doing. Be sure to get a good night of sleep before your test, and eat a good breakfast or lunch. Remember it is also important to have faith in yourself. I don't know the results of my test yet, I will know tomorrow. However I have done the pearson vue trick and received the pop up, so that has helped put my mind at ease. Good luck! Keep us posted!
  5. Hi everyone! I just wanted to pop back in and update this for all of you. I took my test, it shut off after 75 questions. I really felt pretty good about it afterwards, and was not freaking out. I waited almost all day to try the pearson vue trick because the status of my exam kept saying ready for delivery. I tried the trick and I got the pop up. So, hopefully that is good news. I will know for sure tomorrow
  6. mt nurse. I took mine this morning at 8am as well. I felt the same way...it really was not that bad. Don't know if that is a good thing or not. My status of my test still says ready for delivery so I can't try the pearson vue trick. About 2 hours after my test, I got a call from the hospital and they want me to do interviews for three different positions, so maybe that is a good sign I was bummed out because I had a ton of lab values memorized and I didn't get any lab value questions. LOL! Go figure.
  7. Hi everyone! Good luck to those of you who have taken the test ad are waiting on results! I myself take the test tomorrow at 8am. So, wish me luck too, please? I feel pretty good about it. Was really super nervous and anxious about a week ago, but when I felt anxious, I studied more which helped. I will keep you all posted. In the mean time, pray for me too!!
  8. Wow! I know how all of you soon to be test takers feel. I take my test on july 16th at 8am. :redbeathe I have been so super nervous. One thing that has been working to help me calm my anxiety is to study when I am feeling that anxious. I can't wait until I get the test done and over with. I have a hard time sleeping, with lab values running through my head. Hardly can eat anything, because I feel sick to my stomach. Hoping I pass the first time I take it, I really don't want to have to study for nclex again. I have been studying for the last month every day for 3-4 hours a day. I too can not afford kaplan. I have been doing a lot of praying and am trying to put it in god's hands. I wish you all luck! (wish me luck too!)
  9. Thanks to all of you for your advice. I have calmed down, and I have been keeping at the studying. It does help to study more when I am feeling anxious. The big test day is coming up fast. I am hoping that all of my studying and praying will help get me through.
  10. Hi Everyone! I am new to the site. I have been doing google searches for the past week about freaking out over the ncelx, and almost everything I clicked on brought me here. I was so excited to see all the support that fellow soon to be test takers were recieving. Sorry to say however that I am one of those people. I have been studying for the big test for the last month, every day, for 3-4 hours a day. So it is sufficient to say that I am "sick" of studying. My anxiety level is through the roof! I can't sleep at night, and I have a hard time eating during the day I am literally sick to my stomach. I am scheduled to take the test next Thursday on July 16th at 0800. I have been trying so hard to stay focused and continue to study, but I feel that my anxiety is getting in the way. Is it normal to be this nervous??? To be so sick about the test? I don't want any of my anxiety to get in my way. I have been dreaming of being a nurse since I was 5 years old. I don't want to screw this all up now. HELP!!!
