Hi everyone! As the early and regular decision deadlines for the Hopkins accelerated programs approach, I thought I would start a new thread for this year. It seems like it's been a pretty useful source of support for prior applicants during this grueling process :)
i just contacted admissions and they said decisions will be out 2nd week of march. my interviewer told me 2 weeks from the interview date but i guess 2nd week of march is the final answer.
i have one pending acceptance from another school with a deadline of 3/6 so not sure how this is going to work out...may have to invest an extra $500 to keep a spot just in case

Previously you said that there are three possibilities for BSN/MSN applicants, and I am wondering whether it is possible for someone who did not get an interview to be admitted solely to the BSN portion? Additionally, if interviews go well into March, are you aware of how late applicants can be contacted? Lastly, are summer-entry and fall-entry applicants interviewed in order according to their time of entry, or is the entire pool of applicants considered all at once? Thanks!

In my experience they usually determine the BSN admit only after your interview. I have never seen an applicant apply BS- MSN not interview and then be admitted to just the BSN portion, since this question is super specific I would encourage you to contact the admissions office for the most up to date answer. I think last year they were still notifying applicants of decisions into April for various reasons. As for your third questions it is a bit of both. The counselors split the applicant pool up alphabetically and try to review the summer applicants first but so it is a bit of both where they look at the applicant pool as a whole but try to get summer decisions out quicker since there is less time from acceptance to start of program for that group. Hope that helps!
As many of you begin receiving your acceptance letters soon, don't forget to join the Facebook group for your cohort! Can't wait to meet you guys!

@AMES78 hi! I also applied for summer entry, FNP specialty. Are you required to go through two interviews, one for phone and one for person-to-person? I am still waiting for any email/call for an interview, but haven't heard anything yet..
March is right around the corner so I am beginning to feel that it's going to be a bad news..... but still have a hope.... anyway, good luck with your interviews!
