Hi everyone! As the early and regular decision deadlines for the Hopkins accelerated programs approach, I thought I would start a new thread for this year. It seems like it's been a pretty useful source of support for prior applicants during this grueling process :)
Good question about where they send it...
It seems like they call you if you get accepted AND they send you a letter. It seems they only send a letter if its a rejection...so you should get good news regardless via phone while you are on break....or bad news once you get home.
Anyone get a call yet?
I got the email from FA...kind of off putting that they want all the extra stuff in addition to the FAFSA and I haven't heard a peep from admissions. I wrote an email to FA months ago asking them to clarify the FA process, with specific questions about things I didn't understand. They never got back to me. I also wrote to admissions asking if they needed my fall grades for prereqs and they never wrote me back either. Then I got an email from admissions at the beginning of march saying they would be putting my application on hold until they received my fall grades. Frustrating. I would think all that money that we pay to apply would maybe make the process a little easier. To be fair, I have had similar issue with other schools I applied to. I will be going to the school that actually made a lot of effort to gain my business, and made the application process and FA process much easier on me.

Decisions are mailed out via US mail. Only in very extreme circumstances do they send out decisions via email and this is on a case by case basis.
