  1. As many of you begin receiving your acceptance letters soon, don't forget to join the Facebook group for your cohort! Can't wait to meet you guys! Summer cohort: http://www.facebook.com/groups/1439993846215516/ Fall cohort: https://www.facebook.com/groups/663299860357930/
  2. Just scanned through and saw nothing. Do you mind referencing me in the right direction with a link?
  3. I'm about to start an ABSN program with the possible ability to do BSN-MSN directly after. I am not familiar with all the details regarding the DNP switch in 2015, but I was wondering if I would be wasting my time getting an MSN instead of looking into a DNP program at a different school (current one does not offer). I want to stay at my current university (respected school, known for excellent nursing programs) and that's why I'm even asking. So I guess all in all, I'm wondering what MSN degrees will be able to do post-switch in 2015 vs DNP degrees. Thanks in advance!
  4. They interview all of the BSN-MSN applicants
  5. Complete means that they have received and compiled everything (transcripts, application, references, etc). Transcripts could have been delayed because they get so many each day and it takes awhile to organize and process them. I applied ED and my status did not show complete until two weeks later. This won't effect your application whatsoever as long as it was postmarked before Dec 1. As for everyone anxiously waiting to hear back about acceptance, be prepared for it to be March 1 or possibly later. Early decision applicants were supposed to hear back by December 15 and many of us did not get calls until a week later. Just hang right and be patient because that's all you really can do - they are swamped with applications and interviews!
  6. AHHHH! So happy to read this, Kirsten! Congrats! Here is the link to the Fall entry FB group to make things easier! https://www.facebook.com/groups/663299860357930/
  7. I made a group for fall entry of Facebook called Johns Hopkins School of Nursing Fall Entry Class of '15
  8. Expect letters today or tomorrow! I got mine today.
  9. Fall entry ABSN only. She did say on the phone that she apologized for the delay in calls and that they're swamped in the admissions office
  10. I just got my phone call and I am still crying! I am going to JHSON next fall!
  11. Congrats, Tizzo! Would you kind posting your credentials (GPA, etc) so others can compare?
  12. My mom called (she's probably more anxious about this than I am) and they confirmed that Friday they only called Summer applicants. this week they are calling Fall, but if you don't get a call today or tomorrow, don't assume we didn't get in, just understand that they're behind on phone calls.
  13. I applied for Fall 2014 ABSN and I don't think anyone has heard anything yet in that program. The two on these boards who got accepted Friday were both Summer 2014 and returned Peace Corps. At this point, I'm not going to stare at my phone all day again waiting for a phone call that may or may not come because we have limited information and clearly the admissions office is swamped. I'm just going to impatiently wait for my letter that I'll probably get in the mail sometime this week.
