its gonna be hard...I HAVE TO DO IT
GOOD LUCK FOR ALL WHO R STILL WAITING
It's okay. It's not the end of the world. I failed my first time around as well. Cry! Shout!
Yell!
And take a couple of weeks off to relax and regroup before you get back into it. This time around try Suzanne's Plan. Many have had success with it! You will pass next time, and you will be an RN. Trust and believe that. You'll be fine. I'll keep you in my prayers!

Hi dream1987,:)
First of all, I so sorry to hear about your news. Keep everything in perspective that this is only a test and YOU CAN DO THIS! Grieving is such an important process when going through an exam as such. I would suggest a week or two and then back to the books or when you feel like you're ready!:redpinkhe
I will definately pray for you. Please pray for me as well.:wink2: And everyone who is reading this please pray for all of us test-takers. God is real.I promise you that!![]()
When do/did you take your test? I take it January 22, 2009. Next Thursday!!! This will be my second go at it. I'm sooo excited, and nervous at the same time. :heartbeat
Any other January test takers?
Tuesday, January 20th, at 8 AM. You pray for me, and I'll pray for you.
For all of those getting ready to take their nclex, here are some quick and easy prioritization rules to live by. I just passed my nclex-rn last week and wouldn't have done it without following these rules. 1. Acute beats chronic (ex. acute appendicitis beats COPD). 2. Less than 12 hours post-op beats any other med-surg (this is due to the affects of anesthesia). 3. Unstable beats stable (what makes a patient unstable: the word unstable, acute illness, fresh post-op, changed assessments, new admit or diagnosis, experiencing unexpected signs and symptoms or S&S unexpected of disease). 4. Pick the more vital organ. WARNING.- this is only to be used when you have no idea what the answer is. Hope this helped! Good luck to everyone.

I'm sorry to hear that
I know how terrible you must feel. I was there too. Don't lose hope. You will pass it. Take a break though. Give some time to regroup and then start refreshed to study again!
