hi dream1987.i took mine this jan 5...still no results..i had one sata and no math.I stopped in 75 items and its my secnd try. i hope i can make it this time.

I will be taking the NCLEX on Thursday January 29th. I am starting to get nervous now and did not sleep last night. While I was trying to sleep I had hundreds of things going through my head which were all positive, strangely enough. I just kept thinking you can do this, you are smart, I know I will pass. I am glad that it was positive things that kept me awake rather than negative. My friend and I are going together to Madison, WI to take the NCLEX. We are good support to eachother. We have studied a little together which I think helped because if I didn't understand something she could help me and vice versa. I will be going to madison the night before so I don't have to drive early the morning of the exam. I know I can do it but wish me luck!. I have a job waiting for me that starts in the beginning of February but no pressure :banghead: lol

I'm new to this site, but I've been reading all the postings. I'm taking my test tomorrow at 2pm. I'm super nervous & anxious, but just trying to stay calm and trust in my abilities. Reading all of the encouraging words is helping. Good luck to everyone else taking it this month!

Hi Pinksunflower, am so sorry to hear that.. I went to Kaplan and took the 4 month program..they're pretty good, it's just that I may not have studied hard enough, is 8am til 11pm not enough?!! I did not see my name online (supposed to show in 3 days if you passed and if you have a ssn), I haven't received my result (' just checked the brn website, it says "if you did not pass, you will receive the result in 2-4 wks). It's been 4 days, my guess is??? I flunked it. I'm sorry, am just venting :( Anyways, I am comtemplating if I wanna go back to Kaplan or try something else.. I want to try Suzanne's Plan.. but need to wait for the "envelope" first.

Well regardless of Jomi bear in mind that ur not alone.Just relax for a while and keep those hope that soon u will be able to make it in Gods time. Its just allin ur hands. :D Remember that I am also iin a grieviing stage so keep ur head up high.

Please wait, Ca takes on average 3-10 days so waiting just 4 days doesn't mean you have failed.

Sorry to hear that. I failed the first time I took it, so I know how you feel. What I did to pass this second time was Suzzanne's Plan, the book "Prioritization, Delegation & Assignment", and Kaplan's "NCLEX RN-Strategies to Pass the Nursing Licensure Examination." Try these. I went to a review class twice before I took it the first time. It didn't work for me because I'm more of an Indepent Learner. Try and see what works. You'll pass the next time. Just don't rush into taking it again. I waited 3 months.

Thanks Silver and ThatDiva..I am still waiting. I haven't had a good sleep since the exam. I thought BRN updates the license veri from Mon-Fri, I checked early this am and saw last updated Jan 25, which is a Sunday.. Anyway, I will buy the saunders 4th ed online, just in case. It takes 5-7 days for delivery, so I hope to receive the verdict this week.

Hi Jomi...haven't heard anything yet. Took the test on the 20th and i'm starting to lose hope. However, I'm not sure if my school sent out our final transcripts yet so I'm gonna wait this week then start making some phone calls.

Yep too early to say.. Is this your first? How many items did you answer? You can call brn after 2 wks "if" u don't hear from them. Just try to relax for now :)

hey guys I took my test on the 20th as well and still have not heard...not on CA BON website so I'm in the same boat, but hoping for the best for all of us...keep us updated!
