Your question sort of puzzles me
I think that you need to clarify your question if you want to receive any quality answers.
Generally speaking if something at work puzzles or confuses me I'll use the resources available to me to try to solve the problem I'm faced with. It can involve reading hospital policy, consulting coworkers or utilizing research databases for evidence based practice etc. If it's a patient's or coworker's behavior that puzzles me, then if I think it's important I'll talk to them (and with patients perform any necessary assessments) to try to figure out what's going on.

Can you clarify? Or is this another student assignment to try and solicit responses from others as have been the influx lately?
Nurses who cannot spell or worse chart what the family is doing and almost nil on patient care.

Nothing about my work duties puzzles me...
Rather, it is the intangible aspects of the job that perplex me. Workplace politics, favoritism, invisible social boundaries, shift wars, and passive aggressive behaviors will never fail to puzzle me. I'll never fully comprehend human nature.

It puzzles me how when an employee from the billing department leaves, her duties are passed on to the nurses...

I have access to all kinds of narcotics and other drugs, but can't get toilet paper without going through housekeeping!
Ask my husband what puzzles him about my your.
As for me, it's posters who ask a strange/incomprehensible question, yet never come back to clarify/explain.

...and that's why I have NO expectations about the human condition...can be puzzled-albeit briefly, but not surprised anymore and what happens.
