Where The Heck Is My Packet 4?????

the burning question at the tip of my tongue since my case was forwarded to the london embassy has been when will the packet 4 and interview date arrive.

i received a email from the embassy saying it would be here in September for an October interview, the end of September looms on the horizon and it not here yet?!?!

so girls (or boys) who are there already, how long after completeion did you receive your packet 4? i completed on june 31st, case was sent july 7th to london

answers on a postcard....

Any sign of your pkt 4 yet - have you had any contact from the embassy at all. We are begining to get worried all this waiting is stressful. :uhoh3:

hmmm update on the wacky workings of the embassy

no sign of pkt 4 today so i decided to ring the embassy in London....

so after 7 minutes on the phone at £1.20 per hour i get told that they are processing files with a priority date of May 2002!!, my priority date is September 2005!!!!

so what the heck does that mean???

i asked the lady on the telephone, told her i had recieved email saying interview would be in October, pkt 4 expected in September, she said to email the same address to verify that the previous email was correct!!!

so now i am bricking it basically because i dont know what the hell is going on

dont you just love the turmoil we have put ourselves under to get to the usa.

im sorry if this news upsets some of you that are waiting, im not moaning, just letting you all know what has happened to me :rolleyes:

if i find anything else out i will let you know :D

I am pretty confident you will still be out in the USA by Xmas.....they dont seem to know what they are doing there and love to throw a spanner in the works....I remember myself getting in a tiswas becuase I was misinfomred and one email said "due to unfortunate circumstances".....I thought I would never get here....I think because you are so close and yet so far too it is difficult for you all......dont apologise either :wink2:

Thinking of you Claire - reckon we'll all be partying on your behalf when we see your post telling us it's arrived!!

Can't quite believe what the Embassy said - wonder if that was different Visa's or those for people whom retrogression has affected etc etc etc ???

Perhaps it's major reverse psychology - lets tell her it will be years, then send it out tomorrow, she'll think we're ultra efficient!!:D

She may have meant for people not under Schedule A? That date would sound about right for regular processing.
