the burning question at the tip of my tongue since my case was forwarded to the london embassy has been when will the packet 4 and interview date arrive.
i received a email from the embassy saying it would be here in September for an October interview, the end of September looms on the horizon and it not here yet?!?!
so girls (or boys) who are there already, how long after completeion did you receive your packet 4? i completed on june 31st, case was sent july 7th to london
answers on a postcard....
hmmm update on the wacky workings of the embassyno sign of pkt 4 today so i decided to ring the embassy in London....
so after 7 minutes on the phone at £1.20 per hour i get told that they are processing files with a priority date of May 2002!!, my priority date is September 2005!!!!

so what the heck does that mean???
i asked the lady on the telephone, told her i had recieved email saying interview would be in October, pkt 4 expected in September, she said to email the same address to verify that the previous email was correct!!!
so now i am bricking it basically because i dont know what the hell is going on

They also told me the same, I have to wait till my PD is current, although mine was sent to London since last month...It simply says RETROGRESSION starts and no VISA nos. are available worldwide. We will be included under EB's category... But let's still hope for the best... America still needs nurses very badly, I don't think it will take time like the previous year's retrogression...

if i have to wait until my priority date is current, why have i recieved an email telling me pkt 4 will be september then
confused.com!
Isnt the PD for schedule A still current, I checked yesterday and it was, I'm confused.
xx
The last Visa Bulletin states that Schedule A are current - which I take it to mean that there are no delays (as such)
My letter from the NVC came today giving me a priority date of Sept 05, which was when my I140 was submitted and I take it that the priority date is the date when an individual's was submitted?
Meaningless really.
We've eventually sold our house (subject to contract, which in law is also meaningless) - the prospect of Turkey in the Travelodge or the Glyndwr's in some shop doorway in a shared sleeping bag (I'll have to get a scruffy, three legged dog) is now very much on the cards unless the US Embassy come up with anything in the next few months. Unlikely as that is.
Cheers
