44-bed unit, 6 weeks after getting in on nights as a floor nurse!
Yippee ki o ki ay!
if you have someone on routine ATC apap dosing, look into Tylenol arthritis.....vitamin D daily, look into once weekly dosing of 50,000 units...get the D3 though not the D2.....ATC percocet try for oxycontin....i will think of more, lol
Thank you!
Making friends isn't going to be a problem. Lots of nice people but all of a different age cohort than I, and with different interests.
I'm really excited. I never thought I'd land in geriatrics but these days, wherever you work, you're in geriatrics. And they need people who care about them and their dignity.
It's a nice group, and there are no young-eaters here. We really work together, for the most part.
You rock Sue!!! Very smart and insightful person that hired you; you are smart, well educated, fair and have a sense of humor, attributes sorely needed in LTC. CONGRATS!!!! BTW, I got a job!! Local community hospital, med-surg/acute rehab, mostly geriatric (love that population). 6 wks from interview to hire, they interviewed 40+ people for 2 part-time positions and I was their first choice. Gave me a soft, cuddly feeling.
Again, congrats, you deserve this!!
