Should I be a nurse: I am going to scream!:banghead: How in the HE double hockey sticks are we supposed to know what is right for you?? I am sorry if I sound rude not my intent, but it just makes me wonder, do you have to have all your decisions made by another person if so you ARE going to have a hard time being a burse. I am a EMT and if I had to ask someone to do XYZ before I do what I know needs to be done, I would have a poor patient outcome. Sorry but this is getting old

Oh for the love of gawd, anyone who still has issues with cowbell these days needs to get over it. It's far less harmful than a synthesizer...

And, on a serious note-(for realz...real serious) I KNEW there were still nurses out there who were sarcastic, witty, funny, smart, creative, and able to laugh without taking it all so seriously.

Also, very happy, (and relieved) to know I am not just an old dinosaur who needs to either quit or work only nites/weekends just because I get annoyed when "some" people act all butt hurt when they don't get the answer they want for asking a stupid question to begin with.....

Ok, gotta run and change my pee scrubs...and then push that 10 mg cowbell bolus.

I have an honest question about the cowbell...how much do I re-constitute it in? If it says 2ml...does that mean 2ml for real, or the cowbell minus the 2ml, and what if I get an air bubble, do I count that in my 2ml? I thought about shooting it into a vascath, are those important? How do I get that air bubble out????????

I don't dilute cowbell ever...just push it, then flush with 3cc of NS....;)

But there is also a PO version, slightly different dosing...lasts longer...works just as well...:D

Speaking of cowbell...I tried the new Wendy's burger via coupon(too pricey over the 99 cent Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger)...and it was quite a tasty burger :up:. But should I get it with cheese? Or no cheese? Can anyone help me decide on whether or not I need to be a cheeseburger kinda guy, or just straight beef?

When I was a student, I was in the room when a nurse tried to do that. I stopped her and handed her some saline to dilute that cowbell in. And just looked at her until she took it from me. Can you believe how stupid that nurse was? I hope I NEVER have a nurse that cares so little about their patients that they won't dilute cowbell before giving it!!!!!11!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!1
