I am so grateful...

Published

On this last day of the year, I'm feeling a bit reflective.

I am so grateful...

For a loving, supportive husband.

For food in my fridge and a roof over my head.

For family and friends who can, after all these years, make me laugh myself silly.

For my loving pets.

That my health issues are, when you come down to it, minor.

That I am finally pursuing my dream of becoming a nurse.

That I found this website, where I am learning so much before I ever set foot inside a nursing classroom. The collective spirit of the members of this site is reassuring and inspiring.

Your turn...

That I have a Savior who cares about me, wants a relationship with me, and loves me so very much

That I am physically able to continue my chosen profession

That I will probably always have a job because of my profession

That I finally have a NM who listens, cares, and wants to make things better

For my amazing son who turns 16 tomorrow (New Year's Baby... happy birthday Josh) but usually doesn't act like he is 16!

And for so many other things but I just don't have time because I have to finish the details of Josh's party!

Blessings and best of everything to all nurses everywhere!
