I am so grateful...

Published

On this last day of the year, I'm feeling a bit reflective.

I am so grateful...

For a loving, supportive husband.

For food in my fridge and a roof over my head.

For family and friends who can, after all these years, make me laugh myself silly.

For my loving pets.

That my health issues are, when you come down to it, minor.

That I am finally pursuing my dream of becoming a nurse.

That I found this website, where I am learning so much before I ever set foot inside a nursing classroom. The collective spirit of the members of this site is reassuring and inspiring.

Your turn...

for my loving, wonderful fiance

for my very supportive family

for the blessing to go back to school to become a nurse

for a roof over my head, a car that runs, and food in my belly

for good health of my family, who include 3 cancer survivors

for my wonderful dog

for my best friends

for meeting my nursing school buddies, who i would have lost my mind without

for being good at math

for my life experience, good and bad, which has shaped who i am today

for being strong, determined and fearless

for being healthy enough to work and do what i love

for being able to do what i love and get paid for it

for the beach, the ocean and the sunshine

for starbucks, which gets me through long days at clinical and long nights of writing papers

most of all, for all of the blessings and gifts God has given me each and every day
