Something happened to me at Wednesday that i thought i would never hear.
I was told by my team leader that bouncing breasts are very inappropriate in the workplace.
There had been several complains on me for a long time (she claims).
And that i from now on, always had to use a bra.
Was she right to correct me like that, should i complain on her ?
Yep this is an oldie. A correct fitting bra should be comfortable. And some women find it uncomfortable if their breasts are unsupported. But I think it's ridiculous that women are required to wear them. They shouldn't be exposed in the course of work, i.e., dress for coverage even when bending over, but beyond that, they're just a part of the body and we should get used to it.

Part of wearing a bra is for support AND protection of the breasts and nipples.
Not it's not like that at all. I just haven't been careful enough.I also called a co-worker that was surprised that i hadn't been reprimanded before. So i am taking this seriously, and also feel bad about the two days between i got the message and the weekend. However, i am really the only one out her getting reprimanded for braking the dress code ?
I got in trouble for not wearing makeup.
Well, I'd rather be as free as the 4 winds too but I'll spare myself the backaches and everyone else a free peep show...I'm no small-busted girl and I've tried EVERY bra out there..the only one I found that I really like is actually one of those 'bras in a box' at good old Wal Mart...it's a Platex 18-hour bra...they come in beautiful colors, they're pretty, which I like (have had a TERRIBLE time finding a pretty bra in size 44DD LOL), and they have GREAT support with no underwire!
Trust me, if even I can find a bra for me, I KNOW there's one out there for the OP! Truth be told, if I'm not going anywhere during the day sometimes I don't bother with them...
I love this thread! lol
I know many men don't see the need for breast reduction surgery, but really, it can be a great thing. Very painful to recover from but it can be no fun to have big breasts. My mom developed early and had guys screaming rude things at her when she was still a kid(11 years old). She gets back pain and the straps of her bra dig into her shoulders.I believe many insurance companies(at least here in the US) will cover it too, especially in cases of back pain, or where the pts skin is having issues. I used to work often with a plastic surgeon who did these cases and you wouldn't believe how much breast tissue we'd remove on some women. We're talking 6lbs a breast..I can't imagine having to lug that around. I used to hate my little boobies but at least they're still perky!!
And there are plenty of places to get measured properly for bras..I read an article recently that said the majority of women are wearing the wrong size.
I had a reduction 5 years ago. It took 9 months of appeals and grievances with my insurance company to get it paid for. They were happier paying for pain killers and PT for the rest of my life. I went from a 36E to a 36C-D and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. The recovery was not painful at all, but I had lots of itching as everything healed. The worst part was having to sleep upright because the bandages and binding made breathing difficult when laying flat.
Even with my perky girls, I would not dream of going braless. But I've found the wonders of the sports bra to be sufficient on days when I just can't face the underwire.
These bras are very cool and comfortable for large busted women-
I am totally appalled that a large busted woman would not wear a bra at work. Even small busted women should wear a bra!
The only occupation that doesn't require a woman to wear a bra is one which involves a g-strings and a pole.

Same. I have ONE strapless bra I got at JC Penney that is supportive, but I dont get the "lift" I like from a strapless bra, usually.
