I got reprimanded at work for not using a bra !

Published

Something happened to me at Wednesday that i thought i would never hear.

I was told by my team leader that bouncing breasts are very inappropriate in the workplace.

There had been several complains on me for a long time (she claims).

And that i from now on, always had to use a bra.

Was she right to correct me like that, should i complain on her ?

These bras are very cool and comfortable for large busted women-

I am totally appalled that a large busted woman would not wear a bra at work. Even small busted women should wear a bra!

The only occupation that doesn't require a woman to wear a bra is one which involves a g-strings and a pole.

I did that in nursing school for extra money. At 46 now I can still use the pole, I dont anymore but I am still in shape.

THAT'S odd. Are they going to go after guys for not painting themselves up too?

In fact, I thought hospitals, NHs, and other medical facilities tended to encourage minimal cosmetic use, and preferred it if staff used no cosmetics at all.

They would have a heck of a time separating me from my makeup..I know how to apply it tastefully. I just need that little boost each day, KWIM?

I've never seen anyone get in trouble for wearing makeup..at least not when they were a practicing nurse.

I also knew someone who danced her way through school..good money apparently.

It can be very good money. Just avoid the alcohol while at work. everything bad about this type of dancing happens when the dancer starts drinking alcohol or doing drugs. A clear mind is always preferable.

An excellent occupation! Any ways you can advise me to suggest successfully to some of my classmates to do this?

Don't let these Negative Nancys get you down.

If you don't want to wear a bra, don't wear one.

It's your body!!! Freedom!!!! Sisterhood!!!!

Also, you should jump up and down as much as possible. :yeah:

LOL! I have to say, all of the guy comments on here, even the humerous ones, have been remarkably restrained, considering the topic. I didn't find the comments sexist, per se. Most straight guys love the ol' mammaries. Starts when they're babies and lasts until they're 100. :lol2:
Of all the comments on this thread, I found the guys ones the most fun, they have made me really chuckle.

Thanks guys. Here's another:

I for one am not totally appalled (I'm not even a little bit appalled). I am, however, amazed that she is comfortable without one.

If it's a good job, and you aren't being victimised, just try a bra. See how you go.

I got in trouble for not wearing makeup.
Unbelievable!!! Trouble is I can believe it. Tell us what happened - I'm interested.

For me, not wearing a bra would be hard on my knees.

Some of us could give ourselves a black eye if we had to sprint down the hall to a code while braless.

Wonder if I would get reprimanded for wearing a bra? Yeah, professionalism is important, but really, are you more sexy in your push-up bra or without one? Should I wear a codpiece? Jocky or boxers? Or commando? I had thought the "how i dress" debate ended with whites and cute nursing hats.
